La Joya Hotel is a modern building built 2 years ago and located in the city of Huaraz, also known by the name of Huarás, city and capital of the department of Ancash in our country Peru, who has borderlines with Chile, Bolivia, Brazil Colombia and Ecuador. Of their glorious past remains, among other sites, the 'chulpas' (mummy burials) of great tourist interest. In 1899 it was erected Episcopal site. Located in a specially unstable area (thermal waters), it suffered the devastation of an earthquake in May of 1970.
