Detailed Itinerary
1st day: LIMA-CAJAMARCA
Departure from Lima to Cajamarca by bus or airplane.
Receipt. Transfer to our destiny. In the road we will stop at Inca’s Bath to take a relaxing and medical thermal bath inside its extraordinary and healing hot waters.
Departure to Sulluscocha community, enjoying the beautiful landscape and knowing the guidelines, rules and some important characteristics of the peasants to start the full and fraternal coexistence along their stay.
In the road, we will stop at Sulluscocah village.
In the road, we will stop at Llacanora village.
Welcome to Casa Andina:
Receipt by the peasants and lodging to start the great adventure of encounter and social cultural exchange.
Lunch and agricultural work:
After the lodging and the first contacts, lunch hour is scheduled at 12 o’clock. Lunch time is very important among peasants, farmers and shepherds, always being inside a sound ritual context. It takes place at a round table without legs, that is to say a circle. They sit in the floor sharing the meals looking at their eyes.
Participation at touristic farms.Tourists can take part directly in the crop and sowing of legumes, vegetables, and other products at “The Touristic Farms” that will feed other visitors who will arrive later, that is to say, the tourist himself sows his own food.
“Meal at 7 o’clock”
It´s the peasant’s dinner that joins the family together talking about their daily tasks, their achievements, their problems and the preparation for tomorrow work. Overnight.
Meals included: Lunch, dinner.

2nd day: CASA ANDINA- ANDEAN SUNRISE
We will wake up at daybreak when the cock causes an stir among hens with its clucking, to collect the eggs, meanwhile, we will help women to prepare the bread of the typical highland breakfast, very abundant, natural and delicious.
KOLLOR RUINS AND SAN NICOLAS LAGOON:
After breakfast , we will departure to Kollor ruins and San Nicolas laggon in Namora district, we will know the farmhouses and entering more in the Andes.
Return to the peasant, where the family will hope us with a Typical delicious lunch. After lunch, we will help in the farm works.
FISHING IN SULLUSCOCHA LAGOON:
We will know the beautifil Sulluscocah Lagoon in order to observe and participate in the communal fishing .
Dinner and Narracion of myths and legends:
It will come the time of the dinner, we will enjoy tales, legends, myths and traditions as well as anecdotes and farmer jokes that are usually full of a marvelous and naïve innocence will be told.
Gratefulness Ritual to Apus and Pacha Mama
After dinner, we will walk to the “Apu” or Sacred Mountain “La Carshga” (it means “ RUGOSO” in quechua language, listening the night noises and we will make a bonfire to start the mystical ritual will be offered to the sacred “Apus”, (hills and mountains) and the Pachamama (mother land), ancient andean gods which can not be extinguished of the farmer soul, although the occidental religious domination, who have been adapted and combined by the farmers according to their own telluric and sacred point of view. We will walk to a narrow pass listening to the noises of the night. We will fire a bonfire to begin the ritual. The time to “Chew” the sacred coca leaf will arrive. It is always accompanied by an strong ritual where we will drink cañazo, the traditional INCA cigarettes are smoked and we will recite some songs and auguries. In this way, we will feel the nature and understand further the andean cosmic view. Overnight.
3rd day: CASA ANDINA-CAJAMARCA- LIMA
Breakfast:
We will take a delicious breakfast with our hosts eating cachangas and a comforting soap.
We will walk around the farm, making the final reconnaissance of the host family’s ownership, while we help them in agricultural and farming tasks in the morning.
Lunch and Farewell:
We will take the last lunch with our host family. It will be some special. The farewell ceremony is free, to express all the love, fraternity and solidarity manifestations between all participants.
Return to Cajamarca:
We will continue our road to Cajamarca City. Afternoon free for shopping.
Finally at timely hour, we will pick up you for your transfer to the land terminal or to your corresponding hotel, if you wish, and take your flight the next day.
