Detailed Itinerary
1st day: CITY TOUR HUANUCO – KOTOSH – CITY TOUR JESUS – ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONUMENTS.
06:00 a.m. Arrival to Huanuco, reception, breakfast and short City Tour, Main Square, Calicanto Bridge, Colonial Churches (XVI and XVII centuries), Daniel Alomía Robles Mausoleum (Cóndor Pasa), Leoncio Prado’s house.
09:00 a.m. Transfer to Jesus city (03 hours). Along the road we will visit Huanuco mountains villages, such as Yarumayo and Margos. Before to arrive to Jesus, we can appreciate the beautiful peaks of Huayhuash mountain range, Yerupaja, Siula and Jirishanja.
12:30 p.m. Arrival to Jesus city, capital city of the Province of Lauricocha located at 3,386 m.o.s.l. and 78 Kms from Huanuco city, founded by spanish men on year 1572 and located in the beautiful valley of Ñucon (Ethnos that lived in the zone). Reception, accomodation in the lodge, Lunch. Rest time.
03:00 p.m. City Tour to Jesus city to visit the Main Square, Jesus Child Church. Transfer to 02 kms in order to visit Quinaj Archaeological Center, Chiquia. Return to the city
07:00 p.m. Diner. Explanation of the habits of the region such as the Offering Ceremony to the Apus, the Native Dances spectacles of the Peasant Communities (Huanca, Tucumán, León Danza, etc.). Overnight.

2nd day: SAN MIGUEL DE CAURI –LAURICOCHA LAKE “CRADLE OF THE OLDEST AMERICAN”
08:00 a.m.
After breakfast we will leave to San Miguel de Cauri city where we will visit its Colonial Church from XVII century. We will appreciate its altar and beauty retables, knowing more of this colorful Huanuco town.
09:00 a.m. Transfer to Lauricocha lake (4,000 m.o.s.l.). Its dimensions are 7 km. length, 1.5 km. width and 75 m depth. It is the origin of Lauricocha river where we will appreciate a beautiful cataract, the Inca Bridge with 23 windows in the road of the Inca Trail that arrives from Cusco through Yanahuanca to Huanuco Pampa Inca city, former capital city of Chinchaysuyo and from there to Cajamarca. We will appreciate the beautiful Raura mountain range, the 14 windows hill (Wagratacanán) with the Cave where the anthropologist Augusto Cardich found the fossils of the “Man of Lauricocha”. Along the road we will visit the towns of Auquiwillca and its Stone Forest, Tambococha, Cauricancha, Marcachacra and Maypeg. At timely hour, return to Jesus city.

3rd day: JESÚS - HUANUCO.
10:00 a.m. After breakfast, we will leave to Huanuco city.
01:00 p.m. Arrival to Huanuco city. Lunch. Transfer to an Hotel for personal toilet. Diner.
09:30 p.m. Transfer to the Station for your return
