Detailed Itinerary
1st day: LIMA – OXAPAMPA
15:00 Transfer to the bus station.
17:00 Departure from Lima by itinerary bus to Oxapampa Province. In route, we will pass through Ticlio, andean lagoons, we follow trip inside the Department of JUNIN, we will pass by the cities of The Oroya and Tarma, then to begin the descent to the amazon forest, San Ramón and La Merced cities. When arriving to the Bridge Paucartambo we enter to the Department of PASCO, county of OXAPAMPA, Geocentric and Tourist City of Perú founded for Austro-German in 1891.
2nd day: OXAPAMPA
Reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
08:00 Oxapampa typical breakfast. Rest.
Visit to The Tiger Falls, with a specialized guide in nature and ecology.
Visit to the Cheese factory “ Floralp” where we can observe the processing of these products.Shopping.
After Lunch, visit to the Huarapo (sugar cane processing to obtain huarapo and rum).
City Tour, the Main Church Santa Rosa, built in their integrity with wood. Lodging.

3rd day: YANACHAGA CHEMILLEN – IZCOZACIN
Oxapampa Typical breakfast. Departure in vans 4 x 4 towards Iscozacin town located at 6 hours. Lodging in Iscozacín. Lunch. Lodging.
Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.
4th day: YANACHAGA CHEMILLEN -PAUJIL
Breakfast. Very early in the morning, we board the boat for to go to experimental station of Paujil, located inside “ Yanachaga Chemillen” , National Park, its a wildlife refuge of the Pleistocene. In this time were many climatic changes. Varieties of ferns, orchids, “bromeliáceas”, moss, trees, medicinal plants, etc.
The wild fauna its represented by 59 mamals species like jaguar, the “Spectacled Bear”, the “Dwarfed deer”, the “River Wolf” , etc.
The Peruvian Cock of the Rock is one of the 427 birds most representative in this area, betwen others species we have : the watchmaker the harpy eagle, the quetzal, also we have 16 reptiles species like the Jergón, la shushupe “ Amazon bushmaster”, el lamón y la naka naka.
We will swim in Paujil area. We will appreciate several species of tropical fishes, also.
The rivers has 31 species. Also, in the park 60 native Communities of Llaneza ethnic group. Lunch.
At night, we will have a brief introduction that we will see tomorrow. Dinner.
We will try to capture bats using special meshs in order to know the Biology of a mammal, so important for the biodiversity of jungle plants. Camp.
