Detailed Itinerary

1st day:  LIMA – OXAPAMPA

15:00 Transfer to the bus station.
17:00 Departure from Lima by itinerary bus to Oxapampa Province. In route, we will pass through Ticlio,  andean lagoons, we follow trip inside the Department of JUNIN, we will pass by the cities of The Oroya and Tarma, then to begin the descent to the amazon forest, San Ramón and La Merced cities. When arriving to the Bridge Paucartambo we enter to the Department of PASCO, county of OXAPAMPA, Geocentric and Tourist City of  Peru, founded for Austro-German in 1891.

2nd day: OXAPAMPA

Reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
08:00 Oxapampa typical breakfast. Rest.
Visit to The Tiger Falls, with a specialized guide in nature and ecology.
Visit to the Cheese factory “ Floralp” where we can observe the processing of the products.
After Lunch, visit to the Huarapo (sugar cane processing to obtain huarapo and rum).
City Tour, the Main Church Santa Rosa, built in their integrity with wood. Lodging.
Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.

 

3rd day:  YANACHAGA CHEMILLEN – OXAPAMPA

06:00 Pozuzo Typical breakfast. Departure very early to Yanachaga Chemillen Park ( Natural Protected Area) . We will enter to the park , we will rest a night in a wildlife refuge of  the Pleistocene. Varieties of  ferns, orchids, “bromeliáceas”, moss, trees, medicinal plants, and others.
The wild fauna is represented by 59 mammals species like jaguar, the “Spectacled Bear”, the “Dwarfed Deer”, “River Wolf” , etc.
The Peruvian Cock of the Rock is one of the 427  birds most representative in this area, betwen others species we have : the watchmaker, the harpy eagle, the quetzal, also it has 16 reptiles species like the Jergon, la shushupe “ Amazon bushmaster”, the “lamón” y the “naka naka”.
The rivers has 31 species. Also, in the park 60  native Communities of Llaneza ethnic group. Trek inside the park.
In the afternoon, after lunch we will make a trek in order to observe the Peruvian Cock of the Rock. Camp.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and snacks.

4th day:  YANACHAGA CHEMILLEN – OXAPAMPA

Day 3: Very early, we will go to observe the Peruvian Cock of the Rock. Return to Oxapampa city . Lunch. Free time for shopping. Departure to Lima in itinerary  bus at  17:00 hrs.
Meals included: Breakfast snack, lunch.
